John Bergin, CCIM – Managing Partner
John has specialized in multi-family investment sales in the Southeast for the past 16 years. He offers his clients a thorough analytical understanding of real estate asset valuation and underwriting while also possessing a keen eye for return metrics and deal drivers. Very much known as a bulldog within the industry, John has a hard-charging personality with a “never give up” attitude. Throughout his career, John has been a top producer at each of his previous firms and has won numerous awards and accolades with local, state, and regional distinctions. John served as a Charlotte Region Commercial Board member from 2002-2010 and is considered a leader in the industry.
After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Mathematics, John started his career in automation consulting for many Fortune 500 companies: GM, Ford, IBM, Microsoft, Bridgestone, Baxter Pharmaceutical, and others. In 2000, he transitioned into real estate and was mentored by a PhD and a former SVP of Real Estate Acquisition and later learned the multi-family business by one of the titans of the industry. In 2002, he earned his CCIM and is diligently working to finish his MBA. John holds both NC, SC and GA Broker licenses.
